- Its reusable. One cup can last for years. Yes, just one cup. So imagine the amount of money you are going to save each month, each year, as long as you don't menopause.
- You can wear it up to 12 hours straight (depending on your flow though, it can start from 5-6 hours). Isn't it great. You don't have to worry about changing pads every now and then. Then take it out, empty the cup and use it again for next 12 hours. Ta da.
- You don't feel them. Unlike pads and tampons which make many people uncomfortable and give rashes, cups are quite comfortable ( if worn properly ).
- You don't get to see red colour of your blood every time you piss.
- You can use it while swimming, exercising, dancing, trekking, etc,etc, etc.
- And my personal favourite, it doesn't add more to the environmental waste unlike pads and tampons. Yes, pads and tampons are non- biodegradable. Sad but true.
So you see. There are options available but choosing the right option is very important. Before you decide on an option, give menstrual cups a chance and see the difference yourself 👍🏻
